Hello, my name is Promise O, and I am a female home carer with a passion for helping others lead independent and fulfilling lives. With over 2 years of experience, I have provided care in various settings, including homes, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. I offer a range of care types, including live-in, hourly, and overnight care.
Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in caring for individuals with a variety of conditions, such as mild cognitive impairment, bedbound patients, Parkinson's Disease, anxiety, and depression. My skills include assisting with bathing, toileting, dressing, catheter care, and providing companionship. Rest assured that I approach each task with compassion, ensuring my clients receive the best possible care.
In addition to my caring nature, I have a few hobbies that bring me joy outside of my work. I am an avid photographer and enjoy capturing the beauty in everyday moments. Music also holds a special place in my heart, and I find solace in playing various instruments.
While I do not drive or have a car, I am more than willing to travel using public transportation or other means to ensure my clients receive the care they need. I am also comfortable with various pets, except for snakes, spiders, lizards, and turtles.
What truly motivates me in this line of work is the ability to make a positive impact on people's lives by helping them regain their independence and maintain a sense of dignity. I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with care, respect, and compassion. As a carer, I strive to embody these attributes every day and provide the highest quality of care possible.
